Salary Range: Up to $100,000 per year

Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg, PA is looking for a Master Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Technician to join our team.  If you are looking to relocate or make a change, we are the dealership for you.  Gettysburg is rich in history and a great riding community.  We are Central Pennsylvania’s Premier Motorcycle Dealership hosting numerous events year-round.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus, competitive hourly rate with performance incentive.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform service, repair and customization work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance to factory specifications.
  • Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time excellent quality.
  • Communicate effectively with Parts department and Service Consultants to request and obtain necessary parts.
  • Notify Service Consultant of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known.
  • After job is finished, ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist Service Consultant with writing up work orders, estimates, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete and maintain Service Technician training by completing any necessary training programs assigned by the Service Manager.
  • Model superior customer service behavior for all interactions with customers and employees.
  • Team oriented with good communication skills.

Education, Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Completion of a formal training program such as Motorcycle Mechanics School or equivalent work experience.
  • Driver’s license with Motorcycle endorsement.
  • Maintain clean driving record.
  • Obtain or have PA motorcycle inspection license.
  • Keep clean and safe work environment.
  • Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products. All Service Technicians are required to own a set of tools within 60 days of hire. List of tools will be provided.
