Smoky Mountain Steel Horses, LLC, dba Smoky Mountain Indian Motorcycle located in the heart of some of the best riding in Western North Carolina, is seeking a qualified, properly tooled, self-motivated Lead Technician with quality experience with certifications in the motorcycle and power-sports industry. Most work will be on Indian, Slingshot and Harley Davidson. We provide all the lifts, shop supplies, work space and specialty tools. Candidates must have experience, Motorcycle Endorsement and good driving record. Maintain up to date technical qualification by completing all training programs. Communicate well and value customer satisfaction to join our team. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and ability. Smoky Mountain Steel Horses, LLC dba Smoky Mountain Indian Motorcycle specializes in V-Twin motorcycles including Indian Motorcycle, pre-owned Harley-Davidson and many more as well as a Polaris Slingshot dealer. In addition to sales, the shop offers a service department for repairs and maintenance, including tune-ups, flat repairs, accessory installation, as well as customization for bikes. Parts and accessories are available for purchase or special order. Helmets, leathers, jewelry and apparel are also available.
We are located in Waynesville, NC in the old Ghost Town Harley-Davidson location and we serve customers from Knoxville, TN to Greenville, SC, Hendersonville, NC, Asheville, NC and everywhere in between. We also sell and service motorcycles to customers throughout the Carolinas and have big city customers from Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC as well as our local riders in Cherokee, Brevard, Bryson City and Haywood County and the surrounding counties.
We are perfectly located for riders on their way to the Tail of The Dragon on Highway 129 or Hellbender on Highway 28 and those riding through to Cherokee, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
