Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required.

·      Dealership technician experience
·      Good understanding of diagnostic and shop equipment ·      Must have own tools except for specialty OEM tools

Major Duties and Responsibilities

·      Properly inspect and report on unit estimates the first time
·      Repair and service units in a timely manner in accordance with flat rate times
·      Be aware of all service bulletins and check for their completion
·      Keep area clean
·      Correctly clock in on Lightspeed
·      Correctly use time card clock in/out procedures
·      Pull units in/out daily
·      Advise on additional work needed on all repair orders
·      Remain current with all required certifications
 
Physical Demands

Must be able to move around a shop atmosphere easily and perform light to moderately heavy lifting. Must be comfortable around shop tools and lifts. Will be walking and on feet most of the day. Must have full use of hands for typing. There is no light duty available.
