GO AZ Motorcycles – the #1 Powersports dealership in North America – is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sales Training and Development Manager to join our talented team. With a growing portfolio of dealerships, including what will soon be the largest Harley-Davidson dealership in the world, the GO AZ Motorcycles family offers a unique opportunity for the right sales training professional.
 
Objective:
Maximizes sales team effectiveness by determining and solving training needs.
 
Job Description:

  • Determines organizational training needs by observing sales encounters, studying sales results reports and conferring with sales/dealership/corporate management and develops/executes a training program consistent with the organizational culture/sales philosophy to meet those needs
  • Prepares new Sales Associates/Fit Specialists by conducting orientation to sales processes, developing coaching plans, providing resources and assistance
  • Documents standardized training processes, preparing materials for distribution and updates those materials, as needed
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading industry/professional publications, and maintaining personal networks and shares that knowledge with dealership staff at daily/weekly/monthly Sales and All-Store meetings
  • Supports training financial objectives by controlling costs and minimizing staff turnover
  • Accomplishes sales training and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed

 
What we require:

  • 10+ years of proven retail sales experience, preferably in an automotive or Powersports retail environment OR 7+ years of demonstrated sales training success substantiated by verifiable metrics
  • The ability to motivate, inspire, educate and retain quality employees
  • The ability to work independently, think analytically and execute quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Passion for motorcycles, preferred
