“A” Level – Flat Rate Technicians

We are a multi brand powersports dealer in central Florida, providing sales, service, parts and accessories from our brand-new riverfront facility. We represent Can-Am Off road ATV’S and UTV’s, Can-Am Spyder, Sea Doo Watercraft, Polaris Off road ATV’S and UTV’s, Polaris Slingshot, Yamaha Dirt Bikes, Street Bikes, Scooters, ATV’s, UTV’s, Watercraft and Scarab boats.
Due to the growth of our company, we are looking to add additional A level experienced service technicians to our team immediately. MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A MOTORSPORTS SERVICE FACILITY IS REQUIRED!
The flat rate Motorsports technician is responsible for performing inspections, diagnosis, repairs, maintenance and installations efficiently and according to Route 1 Motorsports quality, safety and time standards. Primary objectives include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, and assuring units are fixed correctly on the first visit.
There is a reasonable expectation of productivity/efficiency. You should consistently achieve 100-110% efficiency. We offer a competitive performance / commissioned based pay plan including a number driven bonus plan. Work 5 days a week Tues through Sat. Sundays & Mondays off. Monday is an optional work day if desired.
You must TRULY be an “A” technician. If you are willing to work hard, and you are really good, the earning potential is upwards of $80-$100k/yr. +.

General description:

• Ability to work on more than one vehicle at a time. (if you are a good flat rate tech, you already know this)
• Determines root cause of the problem, not just replacing a broken part.
• Working closely with the service advisors with information exchange as to properly communicate to the customers what their problems and options are.
• Determines the appropriate testing to perform to accurately identify the problem.
• Completes repair orders within specified time frame and notifies appropriate personnel if otherwise unable to do so.
• Determines required parts to complete repairs and coordinates with the Parts Department to ensure availability and timely requisition of parts.
• Performs preventative maintenance, cleaning and repairs of dealership tools and equipment.
• Provides technical advice and information to others as needed.

Required experience:

• Five + years of experience in a powersports service facility required.
• All necessary tools required to perform repairs and services
• Computer skills
• Lightspeed EVO DMS experience is a plus
• Familiar with warranty and other OEM process’ a plus

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
• Motorcycle Training Institute – a plus

LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
One or more of the following OEM manufacturer certifications:

• Yamaha (PWC, jet boats, ATV, UTV and or motorcycles)
• Polaris (ATV, UTV, Slingshot)
• Can Am (ATV, UTV, Spyder)
• Sea Doo PWC
• Scarab boats
