PG&A INSIDES SALES REPRESENTATIVE
 
 
KTM North America – a subsidiary of KTM, a global leader in the off-road motorcycle competition segment and developer and producer of street as well as off-road motorcycles – has an exciting opportunity for a PG&A INSIDE SALES REP located in MURRIETA, CA.  
 
SUMMARY
 
Under general supervision, the PG&A Inside Sales Representative acts as the main point of contact to dealerships for their purchase of Parts, Garments and Accessories. Responsible for maintaining a professional working relationship with dealer staff and the Company’s Area Sales Managers with the objective of increasing PG&A sales.  
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Calls on parts and accessories departments of KTM/Husqvarna dealers located in a specific territory.
• Establishes a working relationship with GMs, Parts Managers and service staff.
• Solicits day-to-day PG&A orders, updates product availability, presents new products and programs. Forecasts sales based on dealer purchase history and present suggested orders.
• Assists DSMs and dealer staff in placing orders through DealerNet and NuOrder systems.
• Supports and communicates with DSMs on a daily/weekly basis where appropriate.
• Interacts with PowerParts and PowerWear Managers on market demands/trends, dealer needs and the competitive environment.
• Performs other duties as required.
   
  EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally requires a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of motorcycle industry experience, specifically in customer service. Preferred familiarity with  KTM/Husqvarna related products. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma required.

  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  None
   
  JUDGEMENT/REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy.  Requires ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when issues need to be escalated.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The noise in the work environment is usually moderate.  Other factors are:
 

• Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions.
• Professional, yet casual office work environment.
• Ability to work late shift as required.
• May require occasional travel.

RATE OF PAY IS BASED UPON EXPERIENCE.
