Overview
Salary Range: $125K - $150K
The overall goal of the Director of US Wholesale is to manage, plan, direct and coordinate the channel leaders, and sales teams of employed and independent reps to meet the sales, brand, and profit objectives for the company. In addition, this role will be to implement strategy for sales management, outside sales representatives, key accounts management, sales planning and growth, forecasting, developing sales programs, product knowledge and sell-through, business-to-business, and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the annual sales plan and related programs. Partners with the marketing and related products departments as well as other functional areas of the Company in sales-related topics.
- Responsible for the dealer network development, focusing efforts on improving sales dealer, strategic new market development and poor performance dealer turnaround.
- Motivate and support Troy Lee Designs sales representatives to improve the TLD brand performance at retail.
- Develop and oversee sales promotion programs.
- Provide internal teams with market intelligence specific to product performance/trending, competitor analysis and account sell-through reports.
- Responsible for sales targets, annual and travel budgets, and P&L related to motorcycle, bicycle, and street sales. Works closely with the finance department.
- Provides leadership and direction to the sales team, specifically in creating and communicating goals/objectives as well as required training.
- Conducts analysis and measurement of sales performance versus sales goals.
- Partners with marketing department in coordination of retail promotions.
- Partner with ecommerce team to ensure alignment between wholesale and Direct to Consumer channels.
- Ensure go-to-market plans are successfully executed in both physical and digital channels.
- Well informed regarding new products, services, and other industry-related information, such as competitive activity within the industry.
- Responsible for supervisory duties including hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, coaching, training, disciplinary actions, task assignment, goal setting and team meetings/communications.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally requires a minimum of seven (7) or more years of management and sales experience in the motorcycle and/or bicycle industry. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the motorcycle and bicycle industry or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree a plus
