Job Description: OC Motorcycle, a Boutique high-end European Motorcycle dealership located in Orange County, CA is in need of a skilled, Retail Apparel Associate.
We are a growing Motorcycle dealer selling Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, Piaggio and MV Agusta motorcycles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Point out any sales, specials, or new merchandise to customers- Greet customers and handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy, a positive attitude, and a commitment to make things right
– Gain the trust and confidence of new customers when they are introduced to the Apparel department
– Organize and maintain retail inventory
– Ensure customers are kept informed by providing realistic estimated wait times for back ordered or special ordered items and by providing regular status updates on their orders
– Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
– Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
– Eagerness to learn and be a part of the riding community
– Up-sell additional products, packages.
– Provide Social Media content for the dealership
– Comply with all company safety programs, rules, regulations, procedures, and instructions that are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
– Good general knowledge of merchandise
– Maintain a positive, can-do, enthusiastic attitude
– Work well with other departments to achieve dealership goals
– Work with manager to maintain accurate inventory
– Keep all merchandise and displays clean, well dusted and appealing to customers
– Working knowledge of personal computing software including Microsoft Office
– Familiarity with leading brands carried by the dealership, including OEMs
– Experience with point-of-sale and parts & service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to experience with other systems
– Solid computer skills, able to type 20 words a minute
– Strong customer service and communication skills
– Able to work in a fast pace atmosphere
– Strong selling and closing skills
– Experience with Lightspeed and CRM programs is a plus
Salary dependent on experience and skills.
