Powersports Service Technician / Mechanic

Job Description:

Motor Bike Works (MBW) is looking for the right person to become part of our fast paced growing motorcycle/powersports business. The right candidate is a motorcycle enthusiast that wants to be in a fast paced family orientated shop. This is a full time position as a seasoned mechanic or highly experienced service technician in the powersports field. We are specifically looking for experienced mechanics in electrical systems. If you are a general mechanic, but have a specialty in electrical then give us a call.

Job Requirements:

Diagnose and repair motorcycles and powersports efficiently and accurately.
Accurately and clearly document repair findings and steps taken in repair service tickets.
Communicate findings effectively with customers and staff.
Work closely with the parts department to order parts precisely and in a timely manner.
Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership.
Well rounded mechanic for most used motorcycles, UTV/ATVs
Qualifications:

4 years of Motorcycle/Motorsports/Powersports Dealership experience.
Mechanic certification or brand certifications preferred.
Specialty in carburetor diagnose and repair a must
Specialty in electrical diagnose and repair a must
Provide your own basic tools.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work well with other technicians.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask are a must.
