Overview

YAM Powersports includes GO AZ Motorcycles, Harley Davidson of Scottsdale, Spooky Fast Customs and Southern Thunder Harley Davidson.

This position will oversee the marketing efforts for the YAM Powersports Division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete event planning and execution.
  • New business development.
  • Execute all aspects of the company’s communications strategy with minimal guidance.
  • Create news items and other content, manage all company media assets and support the technical implementation of the company’s communication platforms.
  • Interface with outside contractors involved in company communications
  • Draft copy for marketing efforts (press releases, website, emails) and support the creation of communications for non-marketing efforts (sales and business development materials)
  • Budget planning and management.
  • Handle incoming media requests and monitor external news sources.
  • Oversee editing of video and photos.
  • Provide input to the Sales departments for marketing, advertising and event strategic & operational planning.
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Work with outside media, advertising, marketing, event and other vendors to implement tasks & plans.
  • Strictly follow minimum advertised price regulations.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

Experience Preferred:  

  • Degree in Interdisciplinary Program, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, History, Liberal Arts, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Understanding of minimum advertised price restrictions
  • Superb writing abilities and the capacity to create a voice that is appropriate for the brand
  • Experience with latest in digital/online marketing and media
  •  Intuitive understanding of online community
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing communications
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop
  • Highly logical and methodical problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Deadline and completion driven
  • Performs at the highest standard of quality and integrity
  • Managing brand identity (marketing videos, advertisements)
