Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Motorcycle Technician to join our team at Kile Brothers Cycleworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motorcycle repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on a variety of motorcycle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles.
Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake services.
Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate repair estimates.
Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their motorcycle’s needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of motorcycle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Relevant certifications or training in motorcycle repair (e.g., manufacturer-specific certifications) is a plus.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate degree in motorcycle repair is preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Own set of tools and equipment (some tools may be provided by the employer).
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
