Job Description: Kent Powersports is a multi-line dealership looking for an experienced Parts Shipping & Receiving person to join our dealership in Selma,Texas! We are the premier Powersports dealer in the southern United States! We are authorized dealers for Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Can-AM, Sea-Doo, and Polaris lines. We are also an authorized Yamaha Jet boat and Waverunner dealer! Qualified candidates must be employee focused, customer service and sales driven, and possess excellent management and customer service skills.

The Parts Shipping & Receiving employee will take control of the processing and distribution of all received parts and accessories into the Kent Powersports Dealership. He/she will also be responsible for shipping products out to various destinations under guidelines set by Management. The Shipping & Receiving person must become familiar and proficient with our computer Lightspeed programs to accurately track all parts sold and stored at the Dealership.
Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assume responsibility for the Dealership’s parts and accessories inventory.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels as determined by past experiences and Parts Manager.
- Receive record and distribute all incoming freight and their respective documents.
- Handle record and document all outgoing freight.
- Follow up and investigate all misplaced or lost shipments; incoming and outgoing.
- Responsible for and the notification of customers for order pick up. These and other assigned tasks should be completed only when no customers are present. Any task shall be interrupted to assist customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of daily incoming shipments.
- Maintain a “same day in, same day out” process to ensure availability of products.
- Experience with Lightspeed Evo and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers.
