Summary Description
· Promoting Harley-Davidson as the premier choice dealership for Rider Enthusiasts.
· To maintain an appealing and inviting retail environment by identifying customer needs/wants.
· Follow the Department Guidelines to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
· Maximize POS items and encourages sales driven financing during bike paths.
· Promote the Family Experience for all customers.
 
Key Results Areas
· Building and developing solid customer clientele and promoting repeat business.
· Assist with set-up, organization, and staging of special events and activities and in store sales.
 
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet customers immediately within a 5-foot radius in a courteous and friendly manner.
· Communicate with customers any sales promotions and/or new merchandise.
· Possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
· Utilize Clientele Logs to increase sales performance.
· Assist customers with their selection of merchandise and fashion feedback.
· Handle customer complaints reasonably displaying empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to "Make Things Right".
· Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.
· Notify customers when special orders or back-ordered items are received.
· Promote a professional team environment and support for co-workers.
 
Retail Sales of MotorClothes & Collectibles
· Responsible to ensure accurate and timely pricing of newly arrived merchandise.
· Maintain floor merchandise to ensure all items have the appropriate labels attached.
· Housekeeping-Maintain a clean and neat cash wrap area.
· Ensure merchandise displays are stocked, clean, dust free, and appealing to customers.
· Stock cash wrap with bags gift boxes, etc.
· Fill in floor with backstock daily.
· Maintain appropriate bin locations for stock room and neatness of all items in the stocked areas.
· Follow the established guidelines for register transactions and provide appropriate service to customers with special orders.
· Record Lost Sales according to procedures.
· Utilize POS established system as required to perform job duties.
· Identify/Recognize Core and Seasonal motorclothes selections.
· Provide courteous service for all returns and up-sell every customer.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities
· Communicate with staff member’s daily goals, events, and sale or promotional items.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
· Friendly, outgoing personality.
· Experience in a retail environment.
· Experience with POS and/or computerized inventory systems and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
· Ability to manage multi-tasks and perform accurately without distractions.
 
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
· Must have the ability to stand and walk the sales floor for majority of scheduled hours per day.
· Frequently required to bend, stoop, reach and lift 40lbs. of merchandise and carry boxes to designated disposal areas.
· The majority of work is conducted indoors however, some outdoor events may be periodically conducted during special events.
