Motorcycle & Powersports Technician – $22–$30+/Hr

Evansville Powersports is growing and looking for a skilled Motorcycle & Powersports Technician to join our team. We are a full-service powersports dealership serving the Tri-State area and representing industry-leading brands including Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, Kayo, Hammerhead, and Bad Boy Mowers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft
  • Perform routine maintenance and scheduled service work
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and unit setup
  • Install accessories and customer-requested upgrades
  • Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, and technician notes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Stay current on manufacturer service information and training

Required Qualifications

  • Valid motorcycle endorsement required
  • Ability to safely operate customer and dealership-owned motorcycles
  • Previous powersports, motorcycle, automotive, marine, or small-engine repair experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to use service manuals, diagnostic equipment, and repair software
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • OEM certifications from Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, or other powersports manufacturers
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics, fuel injection systems, and engine rebuilding
  • Previous dealership experience
