Elk Grove Power Sports is seeking a Service Manager, who is customer service oriented and enjoys working with people.  We are an expanding dealership that is looking for great people, who love the industry.  Relocation package available and a great pay plan for the right candidate.

The right candidate will have the ability to conduct and maintain the following duties:

  • Ensure proper staffing and training of the department.
  • The manager is to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly desk / office with an organized filing system.
  • Manage daily operations within the department
  • Review and implement any and all processes in the department.
  • Evaluate technician’s capabilities to accurately distribute work load throughout to maintain department efficiency.
  • Handle customer concerns pertaining to service and repair work.
  • Building and developing a loyal customer base for service work.
  • Schedule service work according to priority and maintaining an orderly flow of work for both internal and external customers
  • Supervise the training of service technicians.
  • Responsible for the safety of Service Department personnel and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment within the shop area.
  • Assists sales manager with evaluating trade-ins and scheduling work to be performed by company-owned units.
  • Orders and maintains adequate supplies for service department inventory.
  • Assure the Service Department is staffed with technicians and non-technicians during hours of operation.
  • Oversees payroll and monitors time cards.
  • Ensure that customers are being greeted and provided the opportunity to receive the maximum and most complete work performed on their equipment.
  • Complete all end-of-day reports and post-performance statistics
  • Assure all warranty claims are filed and authorizations obtained as needed. Compile statistics on warranty claims submitted and collected.
  • Maintain a current list of all ROs and reviews daily for problems, deletions and concerns.
  • Assuring all new unit paperwork is completed.
  • Track day to day performance numbers for his department.
  • Must maintain personnel files on all service employees and complete yearly performance reviews at a minimum.
  • Must handle department discipline.
  • Must actively work to promote a spirit of harmony with other departments.

Clean Driving record is a must.
