Job Description: Motorcycle Dealership Service Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic team in the motorcycle industry. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our motorcycle service department. Your primary focus will be to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient service delivery, and smooth workflow within the service department. You will manage a team of technicians and work closely with the sales and parts departments to maximize customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Service Department Management:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department.
Set performance goals, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure department targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize service efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

2) Team Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of skilled motorcycle, ATV, UTV, technicians.
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance technician skills and promote professional growth.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and high-quality service delivery.

3) Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure exceptional customer service by establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Implement and maintain service standards, processes, and procedures to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

4) Service Workflow and Quality Control:
Manage service appointments, job scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize workshop efficiency.
Monitor service operations to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance work.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that service and repairs meet or exceed industry standards.

5) Inventory and Parts Management:
Collaborate with the parts department to maintain adequate inventory levels of motorcycle parts and accessories.
Monitor parts ordering and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timely availability of required parts.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, loss, and obsolescence.

6) Reporting and Financial Management:
Prepare regular reports on service department performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve service department profitability.
Monitor and control expenses to ensure effective cost management and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
Extensive experience in the motorsports service industry, with a strong technical background.
Proven track record in service department management, including team leadership and performance management.
Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Sound understanding of motorcycle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Knowledge of motorcycle parts, accessories, and inventory management.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
Proficiency in computer systems and software used in service management.
Motorcycle License and clean DMV required.
