Overview

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Content & Copy Coordinator to join our Motorsports team in Marietta, GA. The Marketing Content & Copy Coordinator will support content creation, with a general focus on producing copy, for the Yamaha Motorsports marketing team. They must bring a creative outlook and show the ability to plan and execute various copy elements based on product group direction, as well as specific content requests connected to various Motorsports group activities/efforts.

 

APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST TWO WORK SAMPLES TO BE CONSIDERED

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

·         Write and submit copy for posting to Yamaha Motorsports Social Media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

·         Develop customer-centric email copy to support and nurture the customer experience during pre- and post-purchase stages.

·         Create Yamaha Parts & Accessories brochure copy and write/edit Parts and Accessory descriptions for ShopYamaha ecomm efforts.

·         Responsible for meeting multiple business objectives including editing/proofing content, development of video scripts (including product and accessory product videos, business meeting scripts and monthly dealer communications), and reviewing/approving vendor-supplied materials.

·         Produce and edit Motorsports product copy on the Yamaha Motorsports website including model home splash and overview, product benefit & feature language and other miscellaneous landing page verbiage as needed based on product group priority/direction.

·         Assist with the development and proofing of media communication materials as needed (e.g., produce press releases for new product launches).

 

Qualifications:

·         BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field

·         3-5 years related experience, preferably in the powersports industry

·         Proven experience as a copywriter or related role

·         Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

·         Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

·         Strong research skills

·         Creativity is a must

·         Collaborative spirit

·         Excellent time-management and organizational skills

·         Must be able to manage moderate travel requirements
