Position: SALES / FINANCE MANAGER
This position reports directly to the General Manager or Dealer Principal
Job Description
The following duties for the position listed shall include but not be limited to;
Ensure smooth and profitable operation of sales department.
Maintain motivated, professional, and successful Sales Team.
Ability to complete all daily and end of day reporting procedures.
Ensure adequate number of trained salespeople are on duty during hours of operation.
Provide and/or arrange training, direction, and scheduling for all sales department staff to meet the needs of the dealership.
Review previous day Leads, logs and write-ups with sales team to evaluate daily performance.
Approve and direct all motorcycle sales. Arrange for coverage from General Manager, Dealer Principal or F&I Manager when unavailable.
Works directly with Manufacturing representatives on inventory control, initiatives, and marketing efforts.
Familiar with all aspects including market value of products sold.
Ensure that all units new or used are repaired, reconditioned, set up and ready for immediate sale.
Ensure that all merchandise in the department is clean and displayed properly.
Ensure Websites and Social Media maintains up to date inventory and Manufacturers compliance.
Work closely with General Manager or Dealer Principal in planning and implementing all aspects of advertising, promotions, and events.
Monitor and set up motivational games and status boards.
Assist and back up the F & I Manager.
Follow dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping.
Be well groomed and comply with company dress codes at all times.
Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
Maintain consistent communication with Parts and Service departments.
Encourages and cultivates a positive working relationship and promotes a strong, harmonious atmosphere for all team members of Honda of South Georgia.
Qualifications
Technology proficient.
Knowledge of Lightspeed EVO is a PLUS.
Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous motorcycle or automobile sales experience.
Previous management experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
