Systems and Network Administration

Overview

Do you like or love motorcycles and just happen to be a master of all things technical? We are looking for a person who can multitask between being in sales and being a part time Systems and Network administrator to keep things running smoothly.

General job description would be:

First priority would be sales of motorcycles

In addition to sales these are the duties that are on an “as-needed” basis:

Network connection and set up of new connections
Manage all top level accounts for domains & emails
Store and manage all data and back ups with redundancy
Assist with DMS, Website and other systems
Maintain all machines and equipment (we float between 35-40 employees)
Resolve failures or equipment problems
Occasionally create a script to bridge two systems together

Skills needed:

Online security
In depth comprehension of how systems work together
Ability to think through issues and come up with quick solutions
Microsoft products
Apple products
Attention to detail
Planning and execution of ideas
Good communicator
Some creative or writing skills are a plus
Motorcycle knowledge a plus

While this all sounds like a lot, we are a small operation and are an in between size that doesn’t need a full time IT person, but we would like to have someone on site to help keep things operating smoothly. As we grow with sales or with IT demands the job may shift in one direction or the other based on the growing need. Our workweek is five days Tuesday-Saturday.
