Team-Powersports the Triangles largest Powersports dealer is looking for a qualified technician!! We carry Honda, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-am, Sea-doo, and have a huge pre-owned business.
Our team completes more than 6,500 work orders per year.
Our work space is heated and cooled. We offer a great work environment, health benefits, paid vacation, and 401k. Applicants should have your own tools, a valid m/c endorsement, and be highly motivated with a can-do attitude!
The Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in compliance with dealer and factory standards. This person will be detail oriented, committed to the highest quality standards, and dedicated to doing the job right the first time.
Receive repair orders from the Service Assistant out of the corral and take to stall area.
Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, in compliance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Advise the parts department of needed parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Advise service advisor immediately of any issues, such as additional work needed, or if work outlined is not necessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Document work performed accurately and thoroughly.
Road-test vehicles when required.
Attend factory-sponsored training classes and be familiar with factory technical bulletins.
Ensure that customers' units are kept clean and protected from cosmetic damage.
Keep shop area neat and clean and account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
