The responsibility revolve around overseeing and managing the sales operations at a national level. Job duties of a National Sales Manager include:

Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing the overall sales strategy for the company, including setting sales targets, market analysis, and identifying new business opportunities.

Team Management: Managing a team of sales professionals across different regions or territories, including setting sales targets, providing training and coaching, and evaluating performance.

Sales Planning and Forecasting: Developing sales plans and forecasts for the national market, setting sales budgets, and monitoring sales performance against targets.

Key Account Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and accounts at the national level, negotiating contracts and agreements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis and Competitor Research: Monitoring market trends, analyzing competitors’ strategies, and identifying opportunities for growth and market penetration.

Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generating sales reports, analyzing sales data, and presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.

Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Sales Training and Development: Identifying training needs for the sales team, providing product knowledge and sales skills training, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Sales Performance Evaluation: Evaluating the performance of the sales team against targets and objectives, conducting performance reviews, and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.

Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key resources, including distributors, channel partners, and industry influencers.

Fulfillment of the projects assigned by the management.
