Job Description: Job Description: Steel City Harley-Davidson, Southwest Pennsylvania’s premier motorcycle dealer has an immediate open opportunity as a Service Writer. Located 20 miles South of Pittsburgh, Steel City will provide you an opportunity for advancement in your career.
We are looking for a talented individual that can wear multiple hats within the Service Department, have the ability to multi task with clear written and verbal communication skills. The qualified candidate will be assisting the Service Manager with warranty claims through Harley-Davidson and other Warranty Companies. You will work with the dealerships technicians and Service Writers to obtain warranty authorizations and ESP claims. Assist in maintaining a smooth running efficient service department with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Estimate costs and completion times at point of sale and clearly communicate them to customer. Perform cashier functions, as needed. Open & close all customer paid, warranty, and internal repair orders and handle all scheduling of customer appointments and follow up calls.
We offer a competitive hourly rate + commission, compensation package based on experience and performance. Competitive benefits package which includes monthly medical reimbursement, 401k with company match, vacation and uniforms. You must be able to work weekends and holidays throughout the year. Harley dealership and Talon software experience preferred, additional training provided.
