Junior Merchandiser

Overview

Salary Range: $23-$25 / Hr

The Junior Merchandiser is responsible for assisting in the management and presentation of products across various platforms. This role includes uploading new products to the website, conducting product research, creating engaging copy, and optimizing listings for SEO. The Junior Merchandiser ensures that all product information is accurate, visually appealing, and aligns with company standards.

Duties & Responsibilities (Include but Are Not Limited To):

Research and upload new products to the website based on an approved product list.
Enter product information into QuickBooks (QB) accurately and efficiently.
Create product descriptions and meta descriptions that are engaging and SEO-optimized.
Source, edit, and upload high-quality product images.
Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research and content optimization, to improve product visibility online.
Monitor and update product listings as needed to reflect changes in inventory, pricing, or promotions.

Requirements:

1+ year experience in e-commerce or a related merchandising role preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills with an ability to create compelling product copy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
