Assembly Supervisor

Overview

Salary Range: 55,000-65,000

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assembly operations of the manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring that production is efficient and safe, quality standards are met, and that production schedules are followed. The Assembly Supervisor must also coordinate with other departments, provide training and guidance to assembly personnel, and troubleshoot production problems.

 

The role of Assembly Supervisor is to manage and coordinate the assembly team, which includes setting goals and monitoring performance. The supervisor must also ensure that quality control standards are met, that safety regulations are followed and that any mechanical or technical problems are addressed. Additionally, the Assembly Supervisor is responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining an inventory of parts and components.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

·         Supervise, train and mentor assembly personnel

·         Develop, implement and follow assembly processes and procedures

·         Monitor and inspect assembly operations to ensure quality standards are met

·         Troubleshoot assembly process issues and make adjustments as necessary

·         Ensure compliance to safety regulations and procedures

·         Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers

·         Maintain accurate records and document assembly operations

·         Perform other duties as assigned

·         Manage inventory and order materials and parts

·         Communicate with other departments on priority for builds

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         3 years + experience of Quick Books Manufacturing & Wholesale

·         1 year laser engraver experience preferred

·         Good leadership and mentorship skills

·         Understanding of Microsoft products such as One Note, Excel, Outlook and Word.

·         Exceptional organizational skills
