Looking for a hardworking, detail oriented, dirt bike enthusiast for a full-time position, at our Huntington Beach office/warehouse.

About Ride Engineering

Located in beautiful Huntington Beach California just minutes from the beach, Ride Engineering designs, develops, markets, warehouses and sells bolt-on accessory products that improve the handling and braking performance for motocross and off-road dirt bikes (since 2002). We are a small company where few employees handle many duties. Are you up for the task?  

Duties

1)     Receive, process and package orders from dealers, distributors, support riders and retail customers.

2)     Soliciting and securing dealer sales by contacting accounts while keeping detailed notes for use on future calls.

3)     Answer technical questions and be able to recommend the right products to fit the customer’s needs.

4)     Stay current on product information of merchandise sold.

5)     Monitor backorders and assists with payment collections.

6)     Brainstorming creative ways to increase Ride Eng. sales and branding.

7)     You will be #2 to the president which is a great opportunity to learn how a small business operates. Be prepared to fill in wherever needed.

8)     Work independently and unsupervised.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma required; some college coursework completed preferred; and two years sales experience. Current dirt bike riding experience a plus and can lead to product testing.

Must Meet These Qualifications

  • Strong selling aptitude with good customer service
  • Basic computer skills like Microsoft Outlook, Excel and a database program like QuickBooks Self-starter and self-sufficient
  • Ability to meet goals and work under pressure
  • Must have strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Follow some of these forms of racing: Supercross, Motocross, Arenacross, GNCC and Desert Racing

This position has unlimited opportunities, which includes an hourly wage and generous commissions. Weekly pay ranges from $20/hr to $35/hr based on incoming sales (monthly average $27.5/hr, starting $50K annually).
