Job Overview
The General Manager of Powersports Plus will oversee and manage the daily operation of this premier dealership.
Responsible for maximizing return on investment and managing profit and loss, as well as all aspects of daily
operation, planning, development, and implementation of marketing plans for both short- and long-term growth.
Has direct responsibility for managing and controlling company assets, as well as managing and developing
employees for future growth. Responsible for ensuring the dealership delivers a positive and memorable
experience to every customer so as to ensure that customer refers at least one other customer to the dealership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:
• Execute business strategies, as defined by the Director of Retail Operations
• Achieve sales and profitability goals for parts, service, and sales departments, as well as total business
unit
• Lead, supervise, and coach dealership staff to excellence
• Analyze departmental processes and modify as necessary to achieve departmental and organizational
objectives
• Ensures adequate inventory levels throughout the year
• Coordinates and promotes a customer-focused culture
• Meets or exceeds sales and performance goals
• Maintain accountability and ownership of organizational profitability and sales revenue
• Monitor and controls organizational expenses
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with local, federal, and organizational regulations
• Oversees execution of marketing plan
• Oversee and direct the activities of dealership staff and employees in pursuit of organizational objectives
• Ensure all supervisors and employees have a clear path to success.
• Provides analysis and feedback for improvement to the Director of Retail Operations

Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and retain engaged employees
• Significant ability in general business operations
• In-depth knowledge of marine and powersports products, policies and programs
• Ability to lead, coach, and mentor employees to excellence
• Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
General office and workshop conditions with long hours seated, and/or viewing computer monitor
Occasional travel may be required
May be required to work more than 40 hours
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Routinely kneel-down, bend-over, and reach to high shelves
May be required to be on feet and/or walk for long periods of time
Ability to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds
