Sales Manager – Powermaxx of Marion

Powermaxx of Marion is looking for a DAWG to lead our sales floor.
Not someone who wants a title. Not someone who wants to sit behind a desk and wait for deals to come to them. We’re looking for a proven Sales Manager who knows how to drive a floor, develop a team, close deals, create urgency, and WIN.
Powermaxx of Marion represents Polaris, Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Segway Powersports, Denago Powersports, and Bad Boy Mowers & Tractors, giving our sales team an incredible lineup of products and opportunities to sell year-round.
What You’ll Own
You’ll be responsible for the performance of the sales department—from the first customer interaction through the close.
You’ll coach and hold your sales team accountable, work deals, TO customers, manage follow-up and appointments, maintain strong CRM discipline, monitor inventory, and make sure opportunities aren’t walking out the door.
Most importantly, you own the number.
When the store wins, you know why. When we’re behind, you don’t make excuses—you build a plan and go get it.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who:
Has proven sales leadership experience, preferably in powersports, automotive, RV, marine, or another high-volume dealership environment
Is an absolute closer
Can recruit, train, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable
Understands desking, gross, trades, financing, inventory, and deal structure
Lives in the CRM and understands that follow-up creates deals
Knows how to drive appointments and maximize showroom traffic
Has high standards and isn’t afraid to enforce them
Leads from the front instead of managing from an office
Is competitive, hungry, organized, and relentless
Understands that activity creates opportunity and opportunity creates volume
The Right Person

You’re checking the board throughout the day. You’re listening to what your team is saying to customers. You’re jumping into deals before they’re lost. You’re making sure yesterday’s unsold traffic gets called. You’re looking at tomorrow’s appointments before you leave tonight.
