Service Technician – Powermaxx of High Point
Powermaxx Motorsports | High Point, NC
Powermaxx of High Point is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, motivated Service Technician to join our team.
Our High Point location represents Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, and Slingshot, which means you’ll have the opportunity to work on everything from ATVs and side-by-sides to high-performance motorcycles and three-wheel roadsters.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows their way around a toolbox, and wants to be part of a shop that expects quality work without the corporate dealership nonsense.
What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, service, and prepare customer and inventory units while maintaining the level of workmanship our customers expect from Powermaxx.
You’ll handle work including:
Diagnostics and troubleshooting
Routine maintenance and scheduled services
Engine, drivetrain, suspension, brake, and electrical repairs
Accessory installation and customization
New-unit setup and pre-delivery inspections
Warranty repairs and manufacturer campaigns
Used-unit inspections and reconditioning
Accurate documentation of repairs and work performed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous powersports, motorcycle, automotive, marine, or similar mechanical experience
Has strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
Is comfortable diagnosing both mechanical and electrical issues
Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Takes ownership of their work and doesn’t need to be babysat
Keeps a clean, organized work area
Can communicate effectively with the service team
Understands that doing it right the first time matters
Has their own basic set of professional tools
Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Polaris and/or Indian Motorcycle factory training is a major plus, but not required for the right technician.
