Parts Manager
Job Summary
Great South Harley-Davidson® in Newnan Georgia is looking for an energetic and outgoing person to fill the position of Parts Manager. We are a fast growing, award winning dealership looking for a team player. The position will be responsible for managing operations and employees of the Parts Department. Previous motorcycle, automotive or power sports parts experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities for this position include:
Provide daily direction and coordination for parts sales focusing on maximizing the net profit of the department while leading and supervising a team of employees. Meet or exceed clearly defined sales targets. Drive sales results, sell on the floor and coach the staff towards increased productivity and improved customer service. Supervise and maintain an accurate up-to-date inventory management and control system. Develop promotional campaigns for merchandise and displays. Handle customer complaints reasonably and timely showing empathy and a positive attitude and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer experience. Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the workload of all employees. Plan and execute operations and profitability of the department. Recruit and select new employees as needed to build a strong winning team.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
-Experience in retail sales and inventory management of a multi-million-dollar business.
-Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership.
-Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn.

Great South Harley-Davidson opened on May 4, 2007 by owner Coweta resident Gene Evans, former CEO of Gene Evan's Ford in Union City. Our location is 37,000 square foot facility offering a full-line of Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson MotorClothes® Apparel, parts and accessories.
We have a state-of-the-art service department with certified technicians, and employ over 30 people. We also offer on sight Riding Academy® motorcycle lessons. There are 14 acres behind the dealership where we can teach people to ride even if they have no experience. Great South Harley-Davidson offers many Riding Academy® courses each month and can accommodate 12 to 14 people per class.
