Description:

This position is responsible for managing the Accounting function and acting as an Admin for the Human Resources department.  The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of general accounting experience in a motorcycle or auto dealership.    

Responsibilities:

  • Process, review and manage AP and AR.
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy, investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Responsible for month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
  • Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation, petty cash reconciliation, GL reconciliation and credit card reconciliation.
  • Prepare and review payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Act as a liaison with HR to assist in on-boarding, HR file maintenance, annual performance reviews, and the implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist Management with various research projects and/or special projects

Experience and Education Required:

  • A bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of general accounting experience
  • 1 year of HR Generalist experience is preferred
  • Prior experience working at a motorcycle or auto dealership is preferred
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll processing
  • Familiar with federal and state employment laws
