: National Consignment Accounts Manager

NOTE: Please do not apply if you do not have direct motorcycle/powersport dealer experience.

We are seeking a National Consignment Accounts Manager to join our team and continue to expand our success in the Powersports business. Must reside in one of these areas –  Cincinnati, Dallas, or San Diego.

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the National Consignment Accounts Manager position is a highly visible sales and operational role responsible for maintaining the sales and operational needs of clients. This critical role will build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and work closely with our sales, administrative, and operations departments in order to achieve the goals and objectives as outlined.

Responsibilities

· Maintain current understanding of the Powersport market to validate credibility and trust with the accounts.
· Frequent correspondence with National Consignment Accounts, primarily through phone and email with occasional visits to auction locations.
· Create and implement a strategic sales plan for optimal account management.
· Understand the sales and operational challenges of these accounts and provide solutions for improvement.
· Understand and track the regional/seasonal trends related to the accounts, any changes, and uniqueness and provide feedback to management.
· Define new opportunities with these accounts and manage to closure.
· Manage auction day and be highly involved with the auction process ensuring that accounts are provided with a world class level of service.
· Coordinate with the Operations teams at all locations in managing repairs, exceptions, and other related items.

·Coordinate with our transportation group for pickup of units as needed.
· Continually update knowledge of the Powersport industry by studying current events, and competitive market dynamics.
· Track and measure account volumes to targets.

Reporting

· Daily use of AMS, our customer management software.
· Generate reporting on sales activities and pull custom reports and requested.
· Perform quarterly client and regional market review.
· Provide monthly forecast of sales results.
· Weekly participation in nationwide sales calls.
· Prepare and maintain account management plan including sales and growth strategy, account reviews, forecasting, and sales results.

Requirements

· Be passionate about Powersports.
· Experience with motorcycle dealers and the Powersport Industry

· Understanding of basic engine mechanical operation
· Account management and sales experience
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Computer skills (MS Office Suite; Outlook, CRM software)
· Ability to analyze and report on data
· Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments at one time
· Good presentation skills both verbally and in writing
· Dependable, honest, and a team player
