For us, that means staffing knowledgeable Parts and Accessories Associates (Parts Associates) that are passionate about the industry and ready and waiting to consistently deliver upon that commitment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide best in class customer service by focusing on and fulfilling on customer parts, gear and accessories needs
  • Maximize dealership and parts department revenue and margin
  • Identify customer’s needs and provide recommended upsell, add on and cross sell suggestions
  • Order, receive and stock parts department inventory
  • Assist in merchandising of parts, gear and accessories on the dealership floor to create a professional appearance that drives sales
  • Work with other departments (sales and service) to order and fulfill parts needs
  • Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping and showroom merchandising
  • Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times
  • Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge of at least one of the powersport segments that we sell to (Dirt, Street, ATV, Side by sides, Cruiser)
  • Basic knowledge of powersports soft goods & parts and accessories
  • Minimum of six months service experience in customer service
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Experienced with Point of Sales systems
  • Customer-first mindset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, VISUAL ACUITY & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • May be required to push and/or balance a 600 lb+ recreational vehicle
  • Ability to use keyboard and computer for extended length of time
  • The ability to spend the majority of the day on your feet

Working Conditions: The Parts Associate will potentially be exposed to:

  • Battery acid
  • Gasoline
  • Chemical cleaning materials or
  • Other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle place of business
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
