Job Summary
Join the fastest-growing Powersports dealership in the Northeast! We are looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Motorcycle Service & Parts Advisor to join our premier European powersports team. This unique role bridges the gap between our clients, our parts inventory, and our expert service technicians.
Our client base loves to customize. A major focus of this position will be collaborating with riders to curate premium accessory packages and consult on high-level performance upgrades—helping them build their dream machine, whether it’s a fully loaded Vespa or a track-ready Ducati.
Key Responsibilities
Service Advising:
- Act as the primary point of contact for service customers, delivering an upscale, consultative experience from check-in to delivery.
- Listen to customer needs, accurately document symptoms or requests on repair orders, and communicate them clearly to the technician team.
- Provide transparent estimates for repair timelines, standard maintenance, and labor costs.
- Keep clients proactively updated on their vehicle’s status via phone, text, or email.
Parts Consultation & Retail:
- Consult with clients on customization, advising them on factory and aftermarket accessories (luggage, carbon fiber, protection) and performance upgrades (exhaust systems, tuners, suspension).
- Manage incoming parts inquiries over the phone, online, and at the retail counter.
- Research, locate, and order correct OEM and aftermarket parts using electronic parts catalogs (EPC) for Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, Piaggio, and Ducati.
- Source and pull required parts for the service department to ensure technicians stay efficient.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dealership environment (Service Advisor, Parts Counter, or Service Writer). Powersports experience is highly preferred, but luxury automotive background is welcome.
- Industry Passion: Strong knowledge of motorcycles and scooters. Familiarity with European brands (Ducati, Aprilia, Vespa, etc.) and aftermarket performance brands is a massive plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily.
- Organization: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple repair orders and parts orders simultaneously.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (motorcycle endorsement is a plus).
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission/bonus structure.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay.
- Factory training opportunities on manufacturer parts and service systems.
- Generous employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and riding gear.
