Job Description: Thunder Tower West Harley-Davidson in Morrow, GA, just south of Atlanta, is looking for a Marketing / Event Coordinator. The person will be responsible for planning and executing marketing, advertising and product promotion activities that are consistent with the goals and objectives of the company.
Marketing: Create a marketing plan. Conduct marketing research activities. Coordinate the development and implementation of the dealership's marketing, advertising and public relations activities. Develop and manage the marketing budget. Update in-store advertising and promotional materials.
Event Planning: Develops the annual dealership event calendar. Organizes community events. Attends community motorcycle events. Schedules and coordinates workshops with local businesses. Communicates with staff on upcoming events and their roles in the success of the events. Contacts and coordinates vendors and entertainment for the various events.
Advertising and Promotion: Direct and coordinate production of advertising and promotional spot announcements, press releases and direct mailings to customers. Coordinate in-store promotions with the appropriate departments and external entities.
Qualified candidate will have experience in marketing and event planning. A marketing degree is preferred but not required. Knowledge of motorcycles is preferred but not required. Enthusiasm, passion, energetic, customer service oriented, good communication skills, organized and detail oriented.
