Low Country Harley-Davidson in Charleston, SC is looking to add a new talented manager to our motorcycle family. As part of our Managerial team, you must be self-motivated, a problem solver, creative and communicative with customers, employees, GM and owner(s).

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
- Set-up and maintain a smooth running, efficient department.
- Ensure department contributes an acceptable level of gross $ net profit.
- Oversee all employees working in Service or Parts Sales, Service Support and Technicians.
- Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the work loads of all employees.
- Maximize productivity levels of service technicians.
- Provide prompt, dependable, high quality vehicle service to (internal and external) customers.
- Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Gain the trust and confidence of new customers when they are introduced to the Service, Parts and Accessories Department.
- Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain customer follow-up programs.
- Estimate length of time to receive any back-ordered parts and clearly communicate it to customer.
- Avoid setting high customer expectation levels in situations where expectations are not likely to be met.
- Develop promotional campaigns in conjunction with the management team and marketing department for merchandise and service work.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Prefer a minimum of 5 years progressive experience within the service department of a motor vehicle dealership.
- Prefer knowledge and experience with sales and servicing of Harley-Davidson/Buell motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
- Experience with point-of-sale and parts & service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers and other systems.
- Current, valid motorcycle license.
