Overview
Salary Range: 70,000 - 75,000 + commission
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly wholesale and retail sales objectives by Dealer. This position will manage active dealers within Florida and Georgia and recruit, sign, onboard, and train new dealer candidates (PNDs) per target within the region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops and maintains existing dealer relationships, obtains orders, coordinates service and sales training, etc.
· Works with Zone Sales Manager to identify, recruit and onboard new dealers. Leverage and maintain CRM PND Pipedrive “deals.”
· Develops a business plan to meet or beat KPIs set by Zone Sales Manager
· Gap analysis reporting by sensing market conditions, identifying sales obstacles and opportunities. Develop, issue, and track Dealer Development plans within assigned territory.
· Manages assigned active dealer programs, primarily those dealers with Gold and Elite status.
· Conduct onsite dealer sales training including dealer portal tools.
· Develops productive working relationship with Inside Sales Associates and customer support personnel.
· Lead/participate in trade show events, exhibits, and dealer sales events.
· Manage dealer inventory including transfers and VMI.
· Acts as the voice of the customer to Zone Manager and Engineering
· Develops productive working relationship with Customer Service Representative
· Responsible for truck, trailer, and demos in their respective territory
· Maintains ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with company image and goals.
COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Understanding of Agricultural, Outdoor Power Equipment and Powersports dealership operations.
· Thorough understanding of sales process.
· Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.
· Strong customer service and client focus that demonstrates initiative.
· Proven proficiency in the use of personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications.
· Mechanical skills.
· Valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record.
· Ability to drive truck/trailer.
· Up to 80% travel. 3-4 nights per week
· Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card.
· Weekend availability as needed to support dealer and corporate events.
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or 3 years of sales experience with a dealer organization, a consumer product organization; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
