General Sales Manager
 
The High Octane Harley-Davidson is currently looking for highly motivated, aggressive; take-charge General Sales Manager.  This is your chance to join the fastest growing Harley-Davidson dealer groups and an industry leading team.  The group currently consists of Rawhide Harley-Davidson, Avalanche Harley-Davidson, High Octane Harley-Davidson, Riverside Harley-Davidson and looking at acquiring more Harley dealerships in the near future.  Career advancement opportunities available based on merit.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager. Candidates must have a proven track record and only the “best” may apply.  Must have extensive vehicle sales and fixed operations management experience with proven leadership and ability to drive sales.

  • Productivity of department staff
  • Front and back end margins

 
Major Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Managing the management staff of the motorcycle sales department
  • Provide support in desking deals, closing deals and overcoming objections
  • Hiring, training, motivating, counseling and monitoring the performance of sales teams
  • Ensure all staff are trained in accordance to training programs provided
  • Assisting assistant sales managers in setting aggressive, yet realistic monthly sales goals for their teams
  • Ensure all customer leads are logged along with effective follow up for all potential buyers by monitoring the CRM system
  • Ensure that all sales teams meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, ups, and closes
  • Leading daily sales meetings and conducting sales training
  • Responsible to identify any daily variances in key performance indicators and make adjustments as necessary
  • Weekly one on one meetings with sales management staff
  • Manage used bike inventory levels

 
Qualifications & Job Requirements
 

  • Minimum 3 years auto or motorcycle General Sales Manager experience
  • 65+ Hours – 5-6 days/week March-September. 45-50 hours – 5 days/week October-February
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to develop a sales team
  • Strong background of CRM Usage
