Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced A Technician to join our dynamic service team. The A Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a dedication to providing top-notch service. We are accepting resumes from master technicians, and will compensate accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform advanced diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting to identify vehicle issues.
– Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft.
– Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess and repair vehicle systems.
– Complete work orders with accurate descriptions of issues and solutions.
– Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
– Conduct pre-delivery inspections and post-repair tests to guarantee vehicle performance and safety.
– Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in powersports technology.
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and dealership policies.
– Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
– Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from customers regarding their vehicles.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive/motorcycle mechanics preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician in the powersports/automotive industry.
– Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
– Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in the powersports industry.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; motorcycle endorsement preferred.
– Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment and work in various physical positions.
