SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Extremely Driven
- Management and supervision of the service department
- Preparation of the annual department operation budget and service goals
- Works closely with the store management team to support the dealership
- Continuously review and improve the repair Order System and work flows
- Organize and control the process of work/completion scheduling
- Lead service department in a player/coach role (management style)
- Responsible for the service personnel hires and termination
- Demonstrate and train department employees to provide highest level of customer service
- Ensure proper billing of customer payment and warranty
- Ensure all warranty are filed within the allotted time
- Promote the dealerships warranty program to customers at the time of the repair
- Provide and supervise a service equality assurance program
- Prepare and supervise a service promotions program
- Prepare customers service call follow-up on future work noted by technicians
- Supervision of Lot technicians
- Ensure proper work assignments and scheduling of technicians
- Build larger base of customer service work
- Provide payroll information to the accounting department
- Assist customers in person as well as by phone
- Ensure club contact and work closely with service promotions
- Provide productivity and efficiency reports
- Provide and maintain on-going training of service technicians
- Encourage technician certifications
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Motorcycle knowledge, management skills, prior shop experience, computer literate, customer’s service skill, typing skill, good communication skill, and people management skills.
EDUCATION:
Technical ability and management training. Minimum 5 years of technical experience.
This position requires physical ability to handle units weighting as much as 1,000 pounds or more. Requires occasional heavy lifting.
