Event Coordinator

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of the dealership’s marketing plan; also maintains rouine updates of the marketing plan.
- Creating e-blasts, maintaining website, updating social media sites, and ensuring proper marketing within the store
- Accountable for grassroots marketing and budget for dealership
- Interview, hire, and train “street team” for promotions
- Assists in the “Inside-the-4-walls” marketing of the store
- POP materials fresh, bag stuffers, internal website and OEM materials current & relevant
- Creates excitement within staff and ensure all staff is educated about events
- Conduct market research activities and analysis and establishes data management to improve the dealership’s marketing efforts.
- Regularly monitor other dealers websites and events for ideas
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the dealership’s marketing, advertising, and public relations activities.
- Check H-Dnet.com daily for updates and new promotions
- Organize community events for the dealership, such as fashion shows, open houses, motorcycle rides, and charity events; also coordinate with HOG chapter activities.
- Executes all planning, permits, volunteers, tents, food, & door prizes for events
- Manage and monitor porters before, during, and after events
- Develop a plan for greater community involvement with civic, charitable, and other organizations
- Become the “mayor” of the community with a variety of groups/organizations to bring greater awareness of our business
- Monitor annual marketing budgets, expenditures, and prepares summary assessments and reports
- Monitor and analyze marketing promotion results to determine effectiveness of each promotion campaign.
- Complete pre-event checklists and post-events assessments of each event
- Conduct surveys, both in store and at outside events to measure sources
Candidates need:
- Detail and task oriented
- Be able to handle pressure of completing projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task managing time effectively
- Expert with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, Publisher and Photoshop
- Experience with maintaining websites and social networking sites with basic html knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Be able to direct multiple employees at once
Industry leading compensation based on experience

· Schedules may be more or less in the range of:
50-60 Hours – 5-6 days/week March-September.
45-50 hours – 5 days/week October-February.
The season and sales could affect schedules, other than what is listed.
