WPS is seeking a creative, talented Display and Merchandising Coordinator with a go-getter attitude to design, develop, and elevate brand visual displays to promote products. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate ideas that create fresh and useful ways to display and market products – including POP signage and displays, physical displays, promotional event tools, etc.
  • With the development of a new brand, research brands’ message, target, and purpose in order to create an effective packaging design concept to coordinate with the brand.
  • Communicate with domestic and international suppliers in order to find the most cost effective, functional and efficient merchandising solutions for each of our brands’ needs.
  • Work with sales representatives to provide them with store layout plans and visual merchandising solutions to maximize sales and create a memorable brand shopping experience.
  • Liaison between brand managers, graphic designers, and vendors to fulfill all display needs for multiple house brands.
  • Other duties as required.

DESIRED QUALITIES

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on art and design from four-year college or university is preferred or equivalent related work-experience.
  • Proficient use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and promotional aspects of product displays.
  • Must demonstrate Excel knowledge as well as Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Must have high integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Current knowledge of design trends in marketplace and industry.
