Salary Range: $60K - $90K

Davis Service Center in Montrose, CO is a multi line (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha , CF Moto and KTM) powersports Dealer. Davis Service Center has been selling and repairing fun for 50 years. We are looking for a full-time experienced technician to assist in our service department. (We will also consider an entry technician with experience or Schooling please see below) Pay is based on flat rate pay where you receive a portion of every hour of labor you bill. Highly Experienced technicians who are motivated and bill an average of 40 hours a week plus can expect to be near the higher end of our listed pay range. There is no ceiling, the more hours billed, the more you can earn. Starting technicians will have a guarantee for a set amount of time as to acclimate to our environment. Our service department is busy all year around and we also work on brands we don’t sell. Our Service Manager is an A level technician that can assist in those new jobs that may be unfamiliar. Entry Level Technicians can expect a competitive hourly rate along with training for upward Mobility. Benefits are the same for Experienced or Entry level. We offer on-line training as well as in person training in our off season. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
Communicate with Parts department / Service Writer to obtain any necessary parts
Communicate to service manager and service advisor any updates on timeline as well as completion date
Communicate upsell opportunities to service advisor

REQUIREMENTS:

MMI Graduate or Dealership experience
Knowledge in all aspects of motorcycle repair
Own your own tools to perform service, repair and customization work in accordance to factory specifications
Maintain technical qualifications by completing web-based, in-dealership training and instructor lead training.
Team player
Self-motivated
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR and be insurable
Drug Free
Acceptable background check

Education-High School diploma or GED.
