Experienced Powersports Technician

Lake Norman Power Sports is one of the region’s leading BRP dealerships, specializing in Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Can-Am ATVs and side-by-sides, and Can-Am Spyder motorcycles. Our service department stays busy year-round, not just seasonally, and we are looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a strong team.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain powersports vehicles efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Work On
Sea-Doo personal watercraft
Can-Am ATVs and Side-by-Sides
Can-Am Spyder motorcycles
Two-stroke and four-stroke engines
Electrical and fuel systems
Diagnostics and performance issues
Routine service and preventative maintenance
Technician Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on powersports vehicles
Perform engine repairs and component replacements
Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications
Inspect units and identify additional service recommendations
Prepare parts lists and labor estimates for repairs
Communicate diagnostic results with the Service Manager
Perform test rides and operational checks when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
2–5+ years of powersports technician experience
Experience with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or PWC
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Basic computer skills for repair orders and diagnostics
OEM certifications are a plus (BRP preferred)
Must supply your own basic technician tools
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
