Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Sports Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of power sports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. The ideal candidate has mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for powersports equipment. Redline Sports, Inc is located in Butte MT and carries Polaris and Honda

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of power sports vehicles (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
Install performance parts and accessories as requested by customers or sales staff.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new units to ensure factory specifications are met.
Test vehicles for proper functionality after service or repair.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Communicate with service advisors and customers about repair needs, estimates, and job status.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or manufacturer training preferred.
2+ years of experience working as a power sports or small engine technician.
Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals.
Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus):

OEM certifications (e.g. Honda, Polaris, BRP)
ASE or equivalent small engine repair certifications
