Overview

The Parts, Accessories and Apparel Manager is responsible: to deliver the PAA Sales and Direct Margin targets in North America; for the overall governance of Parts, Accessories, and Apparel (PAA) with North America; for both the budget and forecast for (PAA) in North America as well as the 3 year plan; and to coach and develop the NA PAC team members in ways to improve their effectiveness, motivation and support their career development.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the seasonal-monthly-quarterly planning and execution of strategies designed to maximize (PAA) sales and profitability in N. America.
  • Responsible for the commercial programs; as well as wholesale planning and execution.
  • Responsible for all (PAA) mobilization internally within N. America and the (PAA) Global group
  • Keep finger on the pulse of the (PAA) business by traveling in the field, remaining in close contact with the ZL’s, (PAA) District Sales Managers and dealers and monitoring competitive and industry activity.
  • Responsible for the development, availability and quality of a performance tracking scorecard.
  • Responsible for the integration of the N. America (PAA) governance into the governance of Global (PAA) and N. America management teams.
  • Responsible to produce, deliver, and explain the quarterly (PAA) update for Management Update as well as ad hoc management requests.
  • Plan, deliver and present the department’s budget within the established timeline.
  • Update the quarterly forecast and the monthly R&O.
  • Ensure updated Personal Development Plans are in place and are regularly reviewed with each team member.
  • Contribute to the (PAA)-related development plans for extended members of the (PAA) team in N. America.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Leadership
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to influence and engage others
  • Strong project management skills
  • University Degree in Business, Communications or Arts
  • Proven track record of leading change management initiatives
  • Powersports, Automotive or Retail Industry experience an asset
