Service Writer

Overview

BMW Motorcycles of Escondido is looking for a full-time, experienced Service Advisor to join our team. We are looking for advisors that enjoy meeting customers and sharing their passion for riding.

 

 

Job Requirements:

·          A valid California driver license with M1 endorsement

·         1 year riding experience

·         Previous background in: service advising or as a motorcycle technician

·          Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and finesse for customer service, excellent communication skills, positive attitude

 

Job Description for Service Advisor

·         Prepare and process customer requests for service appointments by phone or in person.

·          Prepare documentation of customer concerns to enable the technician to properly diagnose and service vehicle.

·         Prioritize required services and be prepared to provide options upon needs/requests

·         Consult with customers about service to keep them up to date on cost, changes if applicable, time service will be finished and any other needed follow up.

·         Need to know Motorcycles well enough to answer operational questions that customers might have

·         Needs to be able to handle larger motorcycles
