BMW Certified Technician

BMW Motorcycles of Cleveland is Ohio's largest dealer of BMW motorcycles and has a reputation built on quality work. We are hiring a like-minded individual for BMW Certified Technician. We are located in a southeastern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio just outside of Solon, Ohio.

BMW Motorcycles of Cleveland is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual who communicates well, and values customer satisfaction to join and help build our service department. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for self-motivated individuals who process the above mentioned qualities and seek opportunities for advancement. We offer Base Pay plus Commission with the potential to earn additional performance bonuses.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Promote BMW Motorcycles of Cleveland as Ohio's Premier Service Department
  • Build and develop solid customer clientele and promote repeat business
  • In-taking customer vehicles
  • Determining customer’s service needs
  • Addressing customer concerns
  • Ability to up-sell additional products and services
  • Responsibly help BMW owners care for their motorcycles and maintaining their vehicles
  • Establishes a critical and ongoing relationship with BMW owners. 
  • Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources (vehicle history, key reader etc.,) to accurately identify and verify vehicle mileage and service needs.
  • Responsibly support BMW dealer goals for service by generating: High sales of services and parts.
  • Repeat new vehicle sales by providing a premium after sales experience for each client. 
  • Responsibly promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories.
  • Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
  •  Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with warranty specifications.
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain BMW vehicles in accordance with BMW factory and BMW dealer standards 
  • Responsibly diagnose BMW vehicles, when necessary or required, using network connected BMW diagnostic tools, equipment and resources.
  •  Responsibly repair BMW vehicles, when required, in conjunction with BMW special and/or approved tools, equipment, lubricants, fluids and chemicals.
  • Responsibly document labor time for repairs, diagnostic and work time being requested to be reimbursed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with repairs performed
  • Responsibly maintain BMW vehicles as outlined in the BMW Maintenance Service requirements
  • Follow BMW factory and BMW dealer standards
  • Expeditious, yet thorough approach to vehicle repair.
  •  Liaison between the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and Warranty Administration when necessary
  • Timely completion of all on-line courses as required by BMW
  • Attend training sessions as required to achieve and maintain Certified Tecnician status as required by BMW
  •  Willingness to work flexible (seasonal) hours
  •  Other duties as required by management

Must have pleasant, outgoing personality, and enjoy working with people and retail sales.

Motorcycle endorsement and good driving record required. Drug Free.
