Salary Range: $48,000 - $60,000

Job description
Blue Ridge Powersports is looking for a motorcycle / powersports enthusiast for our position of service advisor / writer. A service writer will work with our powersports customers for general maintenance and also vehicle repairs. This position requires basic computer skills, excellent people / communication skills, and a willingness to learn. You will be asked to interact with our customers to generate repair orders, mainain a schedule, communicate with our customers needs, and follow jobs through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and capable of multi-tasking.
Interact with customer both in the store and on the phone
Comply with and support a structured service sales process
Have a working knowledge of motorcycles and off road products
Be able to maintain and manage open repair orders effectively
Perform active follow up with current and previous customers
Maintain quality customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints effectively
Organize and maintain a working schedule of repairs and appointments

Qualifications and Requirements

Motorcycle background preferred but not required
Valid license with motorcycle endorsement
Flexible and available for week end hours
Competent computer and writing skills
Experience with Lightspeed dealer management software is a plus
