Job Summary:
Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Apparel & Licensing Product (A&L) Manager. As an A&L Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your assigned department, ensuring efficient processes, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring strong managerial skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and supervise department staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
– Develop and implement strategies to achieve department goals and objectives
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment
– Implement effective merchandising techniques to maximize sales and create an appealing shopping environment
– Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
– Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and foster a positive work environment
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention measures
– Collaborate with other department managers to optimize store operations and drive overall success
Requirements:
– Previous experience in retail sales management or related field
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in inventory control and management
– Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
– Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals
– Experience in training development and conducting interviews is preferred
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
