St. Paul Harley-Davidson is searching for just the right candidate that has the combination of strong interpersonal skills and sales ability. These skills will be necessary to foster an environment that is enjoyable and welcoming to every customer all the while maximizing the abilities of each sales associate within the department. The candidate will need to demonstrate experience in training sales associates to sell the products and thus have at least one year of supervising apparel sales associates.
This career opportunity allows for decision making: assist the manager in purchasing inventory, coordinating promotions and campaigns, and merchandising the department to appeal to the customers. You will train and motivate your sales team to attain monthly budgets and be a strong and positive influence for our retail business in this hands-on position.
The successful candidate will be a strong team member who can lead by positive example, meet goals, budgets, and deadlines, communicate ideas to the department manager as well as direct reports, work Saturdays, and help take our General Merchandise Department to the next level of excellence.
